"Hair In My Eyes got us a lot of airplay on CMT and country radio in Canada. On this record I was in full Western mode: lots of rodeo, ranching and rural themes. Grant Siemens made his debut playing guitar with us. The record still sounds pretty retro-country, but it’s fuller and more rockin' compared to its predecessor, Five Dollar Bill. Friends Ian Tyson and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott make appearances, and it was produced by Harry Stinson (who also produced Five Dollar Bill, Horse Soldier, and Losin’ Lately Gambler)."
